  Imaging station 1 combines the hi-resolution Photometrics cooled CCD camera (CoolSNAP fxHQ) and the user friendly graphical interface of the Macintosh computer running Improvision's OpenLab software. This combination meets the research needs of the vast majority of our users. The station is capable of automated collection and storage of hi-resolution digital images (40x, 63x, 100x) in single focal planes or as a z- series at user defined step size, wavelength, and specific time intervals.

  PLEASE NOTE: Single "color" digital images can be obtained for any given fluorochrome; however, simultaneous imaging of all 3 colors is not possible with this camera, however the separate images can be easily merged in Openlab.
